ABOUT THE CUP. . .

Aside from crafting, I am very passionate about women's health and that is why I am excited to be donating 5% of your total purchase to an organization called The Cup.  This incredible group promotes women’s rights and reproductive health by distributing menstrual cups to thousands of underprivileged women every year.  Since 2015, they have provided 15,000 girls aged 11-16 with the means to manage their periods so that they do not have to miss a full week of school each month and can continue to learn and grow into the healthy, educated, empowered women they deserve to grow into. The Cup also provides invaluable education on reproductive health and rights to the women and men in their communities.  I hope to one day be able to work for an organization like this, but in the meantime, while I gain medical experience and learn the ropes, I’ll be over here crafting and supporting these amazing people and the women’s lives they are changing on a global level.  Check out The Cup website to read more about their efforts and the importance of women’s access to menstrual supplies and education.  Thanks for reading and supporting, lovely humans!
